Goldfinch
◉ About the finishing
Available in five different finishes: gold, silver, brass, tin, and lacquer (black lacquer).
(※The gold and silver in the sample image will be powdered.)

<Kintsugi>
There are two ways to finish Kintsugi using gold powder.
● Gold round powder finish (polished finish)
The gold has a beautiful luster and creates a very luxurious finish. Once the gold powder is sprinkled, it is firmly set with lacquer and polished with a taiga, so it takes time and effort, but it is also very durable.

Gold powder finish (matte finish)
The finish is achieved by sprinkling a very fine powder called 'Keshiko', which gives it a matte, moist and delicate finish. It can be completed quickly because there is no polishing process.

● Silver finish
Gintsugi is also available in Maru-ko (polished finish) and Ke-ko (matte finish), but Nadehiko only offers the matte finish.
It gives an elegant and clean impression. The charm of the silver finish is that it changes over time and you can enjoy the tarnished silver.

● Brass finish
The finish is slightly more yellow than gold powder, but is still very glamorous.
Brass also changes over time like silver, but the change is slower because it is made using an anti-oxidation coating. It is recommended for tableware for everyday use.

● Tin finish
Tin does not tarnish like silver, so if you want to keep the silver color, we recommend using tin instead of silver.
Like brass, it can be used for everyday use and has a cool finish.

● Lacquer finish (black lacquer)
It is finished using only black lacquer without sprinkling any gold or silver powder on it.
It gives a glossy, wet finish.
